Born in Poland 1932, arrived in Canada 1940 via France and England. Attended Loyola College till 1949 then joined the first Tri-Service Term at Royal Roads. On graduation in 1951, went to sea and attended the required courses with the RN. On return, qualified as a "Watch Keeper" in destroyers and frigates. Was chosen for the Naval Aviator programme and graduated as a fighter pilot from the USN training system in 1956.

Attended the USN Test Pilots School in Patuxent River in 1960. This was followed by service in various postings including a peace-keeping stint in Viet Nam and command of 425 AWF Squadron in Bagotville PQ. Service career included some 5000 hours of air time in 49 different aircraft types along with 138 carrier landings on HMCS Bonaventure, more or less uneventful except for one with a broken arrestor wire. After graduation I attended law school at the University of British Columbia and received my law degree in 1956. Except for a brief stint in Campbell River, I have been practising ever since as a partner in the firm of Campney & Murphy in Vancouver. In latter years my practice has been concentrated in the corporate, commercial and aviation law areas. A large number of my clients have also become long-time friends. I am still practising, but do not put in as many hours as in the past.

I am still married to Betty, the girl I met in my first year at Royal Roads. We have three children, (two daughters and one son); one of our daughters lives in Vancouver, one in Sidney, Vancouver Island and our son lives in Montreal.

Over the years, two brown Springer Spaniels and our vacation property on Mayne Island have been a continuing joy to us. Now we are enjoying watching a third generation at play on Mayne Island. Over the years tennis, jogging and gardening have been some of my main recreational activities.

Betty and I are looking forward to, attending the College activities next October and look forward to seeing you and the rest of our classmates at that time. #214 - 2274 Folkestone Way, West Vancouver, B.C. V7S 2X7

After departing Royal Roads (three year plan) and graduating with pilots wings, Centralia 1952, I began a career as "Investment Dealer" at WC Pitfield. I joined 411 Sqn, RCAF Downsview and flew Vampires for four years (and survived two nifty Vampire accidents). My girl friend of ten years, Diana Keltie, and my favorite RR date accepted my invitation to become my bride in 1953.

I worked for Pitfield in the investments business in Toronto and Hamilton and became Branch Manager in Winnipeg in 1963. At age 33 it was now or never (with three children) and left Pitfield to form a private firm named Walker Hardaker Co Ltd. The self owner venture lasted five years during which we gained valuable experience but also learned that our small firm could not buck the establishment in the long run. In 1968 resources were pooled with Davidson &Amp; Company where I served as Executive VP.This company merged with Midland and later with Midland Walwyn where I retired in 1993 as Director & VP after 41 years in the investment business.

We now enjoy life in the village of Ancaster, outside Hamilton. We have three children who have blessed us with seven grandchildren. I have maintained my flying license since RCAF days and have owned a Beech Sierra for the past 12 years and fly at every opportunity...including the date of penning this epistle!

Diana had a traumatic experience...a double lung transplant in 1996 and made medical history as the oldest transplant patient on record for this procedure. She is now active in golf, skiing, traveling and at the same time making our lives very happy and fulfilling. Skiing in New York state and golf in N Carolina fills our sports life which we thoroughly enjoy. Look forward to seeing all of the class of '53 in 1999!!

    3179 White, AJ (Morley)
Following graduation I began an extremely interesting and fulfilling career in the RCAF as a fighter pilot. My first tour was in 441 Fighter Sqn in England, France and Germany flying F86 Sabres. Then followed a tour as an instructor pilot for NATO students on the T33 at Gimli Man. I was a Sqn Cmmander at RMC from '59-'62. In 1963 I commenced 13 years flying the CF 104 Starfighter with 430 Sqn in France and Germany and as a staff officer at North Bay, Ottawa and 4ATAF Ramstein Germany.

My flying was operational and on the best fighter aircraft in the world in their eras. The RCAF was at its peak and both the nuclear and conventional weapons roles were interesting, demanding and effective in the cold war. I retired from the Air Force while on the staff of the Staff College in Toronto. For the next five years I was an . "Arms Merchant&qquot; with offices in Bonn and Ottawa.

I finally retired in 1985, became bionic with replaced hips and currently am enjoying myself fully playing golf, fishing, and recreational flying in Vineland and Vero Beach. I have three lovely daughters. All are married and have given me six fine grandchildren. 4148 Blueberry Ct Vineland. Ontario L0R 2C0
